This heavy duty solid copper cuff bracelet is thick, very sturdy and should last a lifetime. The possible downsides are it is heavy and can be difficult to adjust. This bracelet can be slightly bent for a custom fit. The photo with the two bracelets is comparing the thick bracelet to our standard copper cuff.

The bracelet is a bit under 1/2 of an inch (11 mm) wide and 1/8 of an inch (4 mm) thick. It is about 1/3" wider than the other copper cuff bracelet I make. I cut, shape, hammer, (engrave if requested) and finish each bracelet by hand.

*Size and Fitting*

A bracelet will fit that is between 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch smaller than the wrist. This allows for the gap in the cuff for putting on and removing the bracelet. The size selected is the size I ship unless told otherwise. These are size ranges. The bracelet can be slightly adjusted smaller or larger which makes fitting easier. If you are wanting a more precise fit then please include your exact wrist measurement in the notes with your order.

*Custom Sizing*

If you are in between sizes or if your wrist is larger than 8 inches, we recommend a custom size. We can make a bracelet for any size wrist. For free custom sizing, please provide us with the measurement all the way around the wrist. A bracelet will fit that is between 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch smaller than the wrist. This allows for the gap in the cuff for putting on and removing the bracelet. But the measurement of the wrist is all I need to get you one that will fit great.

*Engraving & Stamping*

Hand engravings and stamps will be on the INSIDE of the bracelet unless you request otherwise. Please list your personalization EXACTLY how you would like it engraved. I will engrave EXACTLY what you put in the personalization including quotation marks. I do the engraving by hand which gives a more personal touch. Machine engraving looks too commercial for my liking. I am happy to engrave anything you like on the bracelet as long as it fits. Please contact me if you have questions about the length of your engraving fitting on the bracelet. *Care*

A number of people choose to wear copper jewelry for its beauty and supposed healing properties. While wearing copper jewelry, the skin underneath the copper will often turn green or black depending on your skin tone. Discolored skin is the result of a normal chemical reaction between the copper jewelry and the oils, salts, and acids in your skin. This discoloring of your skin is not harmful and will fade when you stop wearing copper jewelry.

Just like pennies, copper jewelry will tarnish or patina with time. Many people prefer the look of copper once it achieves a patina. We do not coat our jewelry with lacquer, but you may choose to polish it back to its original luster with toothpaste, a lemon or lime with salt, baking soda, brass polish, or a Sunshine® Polishing cloth also works great at removing tarnish and grime:
